Irina Ringaci shed joy at the women’s freestyle wrestling tournament in Albania after winning the silver medal and earning the title of vice-champion.
According to Media Sport, she advanced to the finals in the 65 kg weight category by defeating opponents from Japan (7:5), China (10:0), and Canada (10:0).
In the decisive match, Ringaci led Japan’s Miva Morikawa (6:3) but withdrew due to injury, securing the silver medal in the prestigious tournament.

The 23-year-old has won 10 gold, 8 silver, and 9 bronze medals in major international freestyle wrestling competitions.
She is also among the athletes representing our country at the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris.
