The 65th personal exhibition of artist Veaceslav Ignatenco opened at the National Museum of Art of Moldova

In Chisinau, the National Museum of Art of Moldova opened a personal exhibition of the famous artist Veaceslav Ignatenco. The exhibition “Flight” will feature works made in geometric abstraction style. Ignatenko is known for his approach to color and form, which makes his compositions unique.

Vyacheslav Ignatenco graduated from the Academy of Arts in Minsk and has been living, and working in Chisinau since 1983. He was awarded the Francis Skorina Medal in 2015 and the title of Honored Master of Arts in 2019, and is a member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Moldova. His works are in public collections throughout Belarus, Moldova, and Ukraine.

During his creative activity, the artist has organized 65 solo exhibitions. His collection counts more than 11 thousand works.

More than one hundred paintings by Vyacheslav Ignatenko are dedicated to the old Kishinev and were presented at personal exhibitions. The artist has been painting in the open air in the Rascov village and Cameni district for twenty years. As a result of these journeys, six personal exhibitions dedicated to the Rascov village were organized.

The exhibition started on March 29 at 17:00 and will be open until April 28. Entrance is free.
