On January 17, 2026, Arena Chisinau will host the National Eurovision Final, where 16 participants will compete for the right to represent the Republic of Moldova at the Eurovision Song Contest. For the first time, the national selection will feature a large scale show that includes not only the contestants, but also artists who have already gained international recognition at Eurovision, Cancan.md reports.
Ticket prices range from 150 to 450 lei and will go on sale soon. According to the official Arena Chisinau website, the show will include performances by Zdob si Zdub, Sunstroke Project, Nelly Ciobanu, Natalia Barbu, Cristina Scarlat, DoReDos, Aliona Moon, Paula Seling, and Jamala, along with other well known artists.
Cancan.md also reports that SATOSHI has updated the song Viva, Moldova, with which he will compete in the national final. In the revised version, Vlad Sabajuc performs together with Aliona Moon and features violinist Vasile Advahov. The song now also has a new video that highlights the energy and message of Viva, Moldova.
“I polished it a bit here and there so it sounds more dignified and reaches more ears,” Satoshi said.
