The government allocates money to the land owners after the Ribnitsa-Tiraspol route. The reason: Illegal Transnistrian taxes

Because the Transnistrian authorities have imposed illegal duties on Moldovan farmers, the government will allocate funds to compensate landowners along the Tiraspol-Ribnita highway. The cabinet will approve the relevant draft at a meeting on May 15. The government document states that authorities will allocate 2 million lei for this purpose. The money will reach the final beneficiaries through the Dubasari district council.

“The Dubasari district council is allocated financial means for 2 million lei to partially compensate the expenses incurred by the owners of agricultural lands located along the Ribnita-Tiraspol highway. The Dubasari district council should distribute the allocated funds among the owners of agricultural lands based on a regulation elaborated and approved by the council, in conditions of transparency and fairness, in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry,” the draft decision says.

It became known that Transnistria introduced duties for farmers from the villages of Dubasari district – Dorotskoe, Pyryta, Cosnita, Pogrebea, Cocieri, Novaya Molovata, and Vasilevca.
