President Maia Sandu met today, September 13, with Luxembourg Prime Minister Luc Frieden, who is on an official visit to Chisinau.
“I was delighted to welcome Luxembourg’s Prime Minister Luc Frieden to Chisinau today. His visit marks the first official visit by a Luxembourgian Prime Minister and underscores the strong friendship between our nations, built on mutual trust and shared values. As a founding member of the European Union, Luxembourg supports our European aspirations, our commitment to remaining part of the free world, and our efforts to uphold peace in Moldova,” stated Maia Sandu.
The officials aim to strengthen the relationship between Moldova and Luxembourg. They seek to enhance regional security amid current challenges. Additionally, they want to explore new areas for collaboration.

We note that today, September 13, the Luxembourg official met with Prime Minister Dorin Recean. They signed a formal declaration in Chisinau.
