The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of the Republic of Moldova strongly condemned the violation of the country’s airspace following an incident recorded on the morning of April 3 near Tudora.
“This incident constitutes an unacceptable violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova, contrary to international law. The MFA reiterates that such actions endanger the safety of its citizens and regional stability,” the institution said in a statement.
At the same time, the authorities called for respect for Moldova’s airspace and reaffirmed their commitment to protecting national security and citizens.
The statement comes after a Shahed drone flew over Tudora earlier that day, after illegally entering Moldovan airspace from the direction of Biliaivka.
