The Moldovan and American customs authorities will cooperate. The Cabinet of Ministers is preparing an agreement on “mutual assistance”

The Customs Service of Moldova and the United States Customs will cooperate. The Chisinau Government is preparing to sign an appropriate agreement.

“The Government approves signing the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Government of the United States of America regarding mutual assistance between their customs administrations,” the document states.

The draft published on the official government website does not include an informational note or specify the assistance the two states will offer each other and under what conditions.

Prime Minister Dorin Recean will sign the document. Finance Minister Victoria Belous and Foreign Minister Mihai Popsoi will also countersign it.
