The new Parliament must convene for its first session no later than November 14.

Under legal procedures:

  • The election results must be centralized within 5 days after the vote.
  • The Constitutional Court then has 10 days to validate the results.
  • Its decision, declaring the election valid or invalid, is published in the Official Gazette within 2 days of adoption.

Afterward, the President convenes the first session of the new Legislature. The Constitutional Court presents its report, and Parliament becomes legally constituted.

Once constituted, Parliament has 10 days to elect the Speaker, Deputy Speakers, and the Standing Bureau, as well as to form parliamentary factions.

The factions then hold consultations to nominate a Prime Minister. Once nominated, the candidate has 15 days to present the government’s program and cabinet list. If approved, the new Executive is sworn in within 2 weeks.
