The PAS Reveals Electoral List Headed by Igor Grosu and PM Dorin Recean

Parliament Speaker and PAS President Igor Grosu has unveiled the leading names on the Action and Solidarity Party’s (PAS) electoral list. In an exclusive interview with MOLDPRES, Grosu announced that he will top the list, followed by Prime Minister Dorin Recean. The list features prominent figures from academia, culture, and politics.

Among the new additions are Viorel Bostan, rector of the Technical University of Moldova; Emil Ceban, rector of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy; acclaimed musicians Nicolae Botgros and Constantin Cheianu; as well as former ministers Nicu Popescu and Marcel Spatari.

“These individuals have joined us not out of obligation, but out of shared values. They are not required to become party members,” Grosu said.

He also reiterated PAS’s openness to cooperating with extra-parliamentary pro-European parties, even as some continue to weigh their options or opt to run independently.

“It was a tough internal decision, but we chose unity over division. Moldova’s future lies between advancing toward the EU or sliding backward,” Grosu stressed.

The full interview with Igor Grosu — highlighting Parliament’s activity, the 11th legislature’s achievements, and upcoming challenges — will be published by the MOLDPRES Agency on July 18.
