On February 2, Vice Prime Minister for Reintegration Valeriu Chiveri met with Francisco Aguilera Aranda, Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Spain to Moldova, based in Bucharest, the Government announced.
The officials discussed regional developments and the Transnistrian settlement process. They reviewed measures by Chisinau authorities to support citizens living on the left bank of the Dniester as part of reintegration policies.
The assistance provided focuses on the economy, healthcare, social protection, and education, aiming to improve living conditions and facilitate the integration of these citizens.
During the meeting, Chiveri expressed gratitude to Spain for its ongoing support of Moldova, particularly in defending the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity within internationally recognized borders.
