The SABIT Program has started accepting applications for the 2024 Clean Energy for Eurasia Program

The SABIT Program is the Department of Commerce’s business leader exchange program. Through two-week, industry-specific programs in the United States, the U.S. private sector, professional associations, educational institutions, and U.S. federal, state, and local government agencies impart U.S. best practices to business leaders from Eurasia, South Asia, and Europe. Participants learn from their U.S. counterparts how the private sector promotes innovation, investment, and economic growth. Participants return home to promote reforms that create more business-friendly environments that level the playing field for U.S. companies wanting to enter or invest in the market.

SABIT generates significant diplomatic and commercial results by exposing program participants to U.S. business practices, standards, and technologies. SABIT equips current and future business leaders with the technical knowledge to support their own countries’ progress toward more efficient, market-oriented economies, emphasizing valuable export and investment opportunities for U.S. industries. SABIT also assists American companies in creating and strengthening connections with foreign partners and customers.
