Next January, 500 Kharkiv students will transfer to the State University of Moldova (USM) and receive double diplomas.
It is due to the initiation of joint educational programs in the following fields: pedagogical sciences, law, economic sciences, information and communication technologies, agora.md writes.
In this regard, they are considering the possibility of renovating one building and four dormitories of the state university. According to the education minister, attracting foreign students could ensure better cooperation between Moldovan and Ukrainian researchers in international projects.

“I believe that we will also be able to mobilize international resources to modernize the infrastructure and accommodate these students. It is an exceptional opportunity for Moldova. It is the help we can offer Ukraine,” the education minister said.
Education and Science Minister Dan Perciun mentioned this during a meeting with Tatiana Kaganovska, the rector of the Ukrainian university. State Secretary Adriana Cazacu, the rector of the State University of Moldova, Igor Sharov, and other representatives of the two universities also attended the meeting.
