Maia Sandu attends the opening of the Summer Olympic Games in Paris alongside over 100 world leaders.
Twenty-six athletes will represent the Republic of Moldova, boasting nine world- titles and 11 European titles. They will participate in 10 sports events included in the Olympic Games program.
The presidential administration said that during her visit to France, the head of state will also meet with the diaspora in Nice, the largest Moldovan community in France after Paris.
The Summer Olympics in Paris will start on Friday, July 26, and run until August 11. Dan Olaru and Alexandra Mirca will carry the Moldovan flag.
