A tragic accident involving a bus on the Chisinau-Kyiv route left one person dead and four others injured after the driver lost control and the vehicle veered off the road, fell into a ditch, and crashed into a tree. No Moldovan citizens are among the victims.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that a Moldovan citizen drove the bus and carried 41 passengers.
“Based on the currently available information, no citizens of the Republic of Moldova are among the victims. The Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Kyiv is staying in close contact with the Ukrainian authorities to clarify the details of the accident. It is also ready to provide consular assistance if needed. The Ministry is closely monitoring the situation and will share updates as more information becomes available,” the Ministry representatives stated.

The impact occurred near the village of Pryvitne, around 10:40 a.m.
