High-level officials will gather in Odesa for the fourth Ukraine–South-East Europe Summit hosted by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. According to the Bucharest presidential administration, Romania, Moldova, and Ukraine will hold a trilateral meeting where President Nicusor Dan, President Maia Sandu, and President Zelensky will discuss key interconnection projects.
The Chisinau Presidency has not yet issued any statement on this matter as of publication. However, earlier, the head of state confirmed her participation in the Odesa event during a telephone conversation with her Ukrainian counterpart, according to IPN.
“This trilateral format is meeting at the highest level for the first time, demonstrating the determination of the three neighboring states to intensify cooperation and coordination through a medium- and long-term dialogue mechanism. This mechanism will also actively support the authorities in Chisinau and Kyiv in implementing the necessary reforms for the European integration process,” the Romanian Presidency stated.

Additionally, the Cotroceni leader will emphasize the importance of maintaining unity and a coherent approach throughout the region represented at the summit to secure the overall safety of the European continent.
The Ukraine–South-East Europe format emerged in 2023 as a regional platform to support Ukraine during Russia’s war and to coordinate responses to the conflict’s broader regional impact. It promotes joint efforts among neighboring states to counter shared security challenges.
