Tuition fees at several universities in Moldova have increased in 2026. The most expensive study contracts remain at the Nicolae Testemițanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy (USMF) and the Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts (AMTAP).
At USMF, tuition fees have increased by up to 5,000 lei. The most expensive program remains Dentistry, where the annual contract fee reaches 70,000 lei.

At the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova (ASEM), the tuition fee set for 2026 is 15,500 lei for bachelor’s programs and 17,000 lei for master’s programs across all specialties for full-time studies, according to the institution’s website.
The Technical University of Moldova (UTM) increased tuition fees by 2,000 lei for all bachelor’s programs, except Veterinary Medicine. For this program, the contract fee increased by 3,000 lei. The full list of tuition fees for each specialty can be consulted here.
Tuition fees at the Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts (AMTAP) have not increased. Contract prices for arts-related specialties range from 8,500 lei for a master’s degree in Dramaturgy to 56,900 lei for a bachelor’s degree in Academic Singing. The full list of tuition fees can be found here.
At the Ion Creangă State Pedagogical University, tuition fees previously ranged between 8,000 and 15,000 lei, depending on the specialty. Currently, contract fees range from 9,000 to 16,000 lei. The full list of programs and tuition fees can be consulted here.
At the Moldova State University (USM), tuition fees in 2026 range between 9,000 and 18,000 lei. The most expensive specialty is “Game Design.” Last year, tuition fees ranged between 8,000 and 18,000 lei. The full list of tariffs is available here.
At the Alecu Russo Bălți State University, the most expensive program is Business and Administration taught in English, with a tuition fee of 1,700 euros. For other programs, contract fees range between 10,400 and 22,000 lei. The full list of prices can be consulted here.
At the Stefan cel Mare Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, bachelor’s degree tuition fees in 2026 range between 9,000 and 12,500 lei. Students who choose to obtain a master’s degree on a contract basis will pay 17,000 lei for two years of study. More details are available here.
