An unidentified drone crossed Moldova’s airspace on September 17 amid massive Russian attacks on Ukraine, including the Odesa region, Moldova’s Ministry of Defense reported.
“At 08:56, the drone unlawfully crossed the state border from the direction of Biliaivka, Ukraine, toward Tudora, Moldova. At 08:58, it left Moldova’s national airspace from the direction of Palanca, Moldova, toward Davidove Liman Lake in Ukraine,” the Ministry of Defense said.
The Air Operations Service continues to monitor Moldova’s airspace in coordination with national authorities and partners to ensure the safety of the population.
