Cristina and Igor Staver launched their family business in 2015, driven by necessity and a deep desire to stay in their home country. Convinced they could build something beautiful in Moldova rather than abroad, they turned their vision into reality.
With a background in design, Cristina teamed up with Igor, a former sector police officer, after spotting a frustrating detail at Chisinau’s Central Market: vendors were selling imported pinecones from China. That moment sparked the idea that evolved into a fully-fledged workshop in Zaicana.
Today, the couple handcrafts wooden platters, personalized gifts, and decorative pieces for special occasions. Their business employs around 10 people and features advanced equipment that brings their creative concepts to life—products now admired by customers worldwide.

In addition to their workshop, the Stavers opened a storefront where they sell directly to buyers.
Cristina encourages anyone dreaming of launching a business in Moldova not to wait for the perfect moment, but to begin with confidence and an open heart.
