(VIDEO) Dorin Recean calls Moldovans to participate in European Parliament elections

Prime Minister Dorin Recean calls on Moldovan citizens with European Union member state citizenship to vote in the European Parliament elections. The Government meeting on June 5 began with this message.

He encourages voters to vote for parties that support the EU enlargement. At the same time, the prime minister talked about Moldova’s accession to the EU.

“From Thursday to Sunday inclusive, I encourage European citizens from Moldova, as well as those who are abroad, to come from June 6 to June 9 inclusive to vote for parties that support the European Union enlargement and Moldova’s accession to the EU,” Recean said.

In Moldova, the voting will take place at the diplomatic representations of the Embassies of the European Union countries. For Romanian citizens, authorities will open 52 polling stations in Moldova.
