For the first time in this format, the Ambassador of the European Union, Janis Mazeiks, and Cristofor Aldea Teodorovici will sing for you on stage in Chisinau on Europe Day.
“In limba ta” (In your language), with lyrics by Grigore Vieru, will be sung in rock style. The song is sung as a way to honor the Romanian language.
So, did you know that the original song was composed in the 1990s by the band “Livi” from Latvia? It was performed using the translated lyrics of the renowned poet Grigore Vieru. The song is popular in Latvia, the Ambassador’s homeland.
