Russian artist Maxim Galkin arrived in Chisinau to take part in a concert organized by Renato Usatii in Falesti, held on the occasion of the locality’s patron saint day (hram).
At the airport, organizers welcomed Galkin with bread and salt, and offered wine and grape juice as refreshments.
When Renato Usatii asked him what he would like to drink, Galkin replied: “Wine, of course, what else.”
Maxim Galkin, who has publicly criticized Russia’s war in Ukraine, has been included by Russian authorities in the registry of so-called “foreign agents.”
