Moldovan weightlifter Marin Robu demands justice, accusing his Italian rival Antonino Pizzolato of breaking the rules by lifting 212 kg during the competition.
Robu asserts that the judges initially disregarded Pizzolato’s result, but after an appeal, the jury overturned the decision, awarding the Italian points and causing Robu to lose his bronze medal.
Robu explained that Pizzolato violated the rules by moving his left elbow while fixing the bar, an action prohibited by the competition’s regulations.
