MEP Siegfried Muresan stated in the European Parliament plenary that the European Union will support the Republic of Moldova in modernizing its infrastructure and strengthening energy independence.
“We will help to modernize schools, hospitals, and roads in the Republic of Moldova. We will also help the country connect, including energetically, with free, democratic EU countries, so that the Russian Federation can never again blackmail or threaten Moldova as it did in the past,” Muresan declared.
He made these statements during the plenary session focused on the support provided to EU candidate countries.
