Prime Minister Dorin Recean announced that government reshuffles will be unveiled on November 18. He made this statement at the Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, November 13.
“Over the past few days, following the elections, we’ve been analyzing and discussing the changes needed within the government. I will hold a press conference on Monday, November 18, to announce these adjustments,” Recean stated.
President Maia Sandu previously highlighted the need for government reshuffles after the first round of the presidential elections. After securing a new mandate, Recean pledged to outline the changes within 10 days.
On November 11, Andrei Spinu resigned, and the media speculated that Dumitru Alaiba, Adrian Efros, Ala Nemerenco, Vladimir Bolea, and Veronica Mihailov-Moraru may also vacate their ministerial roles.
