On the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the Independence Day of the Republic of Moldova, Prime Minister Dorin Recean and Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu today laid flowers at the monuments of the “Maica Indurerata” (Mother in Mourning) at the “Eternitate” Memorial Complex and the monument of the Prince Stephen the Great and Holy.
“Today, we celebrate the courage, steadfastness, and sacrifice of those who made this country independent back then, at the beginning. Our task is to work disciplined and build its European future. It means building wealth here, in our Republic of Moldova. Today’s celebration is a good opportunity to unite all of us as a nation and with determination to move forward towards a European future”, the Prime Minister said.
Prime Minister Dorin Recean confidently stated that the Republic of Moldova can overcome its challenges by mobilizing. “No matter how much we are challenged from the outside, but especially from within, let us maintain our unity and determination to build our lives here at home,” he said.
