Is the economy in a critical state, or is it just going through a difficult period? REALITATEA asked people randomly met on the streets of Chisinau how they perceive the country’s economic situation, whether they feel any improvement in their daily lives, and what they see as the main problems.
Opinions were divided.
Some respondents said the economy is struggling but not in a critical condition, pointing to multiple crises affecting the country. Others expressed skepticism, saying they do not see a functioning economy and feel that everything is out of balance. Another view was more optimistic, with some people saying the economy is slowly growing, although from a weak base, and that progress will take time.
