Visa fraud websites. General Inspectorate for Migration warns

The General Inspectorate for Migration (IGM) informs that it has been alerted about the existence of two fraudulent websites, https://www.evisa-md.com and https://invitation-md.com, which offer, in an unauthorized manner, online services for obtaining invitations and visas for foreign citizens intending to enter or transit the territory of the Republic of Moldova.

“We point out that both sites engage in illegal activities, attempting to defraud users, and are unaffiliated with any governmental authority or institution responsible for issuing invitations or visas. The General Inspectorate for Migration announces that it has taken the matter into its own hands and has informed the competent authorities to block these websites and to prevent other similar crimes,” a press release said.

At the same time, the General Inspectorate for Migration states that it does not collaborate with third-party or unauthorized sites to issue invitations. All services must be requested directly through official channels, with the legal conditions described on the official pages igm.gov.md or mae.gov.md.
