Vulnerable individuals in Copceac will benefit from a modern and welcoming space for the delivery of social services. The European Union and UNDP Moldova supported the renovation of the building.
The Multifunctional Social Services Center in Copceac has opened to people in vulnerable situations, older persons, and people with disabilities. The project “Mayors for Economic Growth” equipped the building with modern facilities.
EU Delegation representatives to the Republic of Moldova said investments transformed the center into a safe and accessible place capable of serving up to 100 beneficiaries daily. They added that the project shows a commitment to the community and demonstrates how international partnerships can bring real change to people’s lives.
The Government of Switzerland and UNFPA also supported the implementation of the initiative, alongside the EU and UNDP.
