Almost 15,000 Ukrainians Seek Asylum in Moldova, How Many Have Residence Permits?

Approximately 15,000 Ukrainians have sought asylum in the Republic of Moldova since the war began, as reported by the General Inspectorate for Migration.

Around 7,000 Ukrainians have been granted residence permits in the Republic of Moldova. This document allows them to work, reunite with their families, or make investments.

Currently, there are over 100,000 Ukrainian citizens in Moldova, with more than 65,000 already having their status legalized.

Over 10,300 people benefit from the temporary protection mechanism out of the over 16,000 who have applied for it. Among them, more than 3,400 are minors.
