Today, the government has appointed Ghenadie Marian as the new head of the Bureau for European Integration, following a proposal made by Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Cristina Gherasimov, during the cabinet meeting.
Gherasimov highlighted Marian’s extensive diplomatic experience, which began in 2016 and includes pivotal roles in Moldova’s European integration efforts. Marian has notably served in the European integration channel within the central apparatus of the Foreign Affairs Ministry and at Moldova’s mission to the EU. In 2023, he held the position of state secretary for transport at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development.
Additionally, the government accepted the resignations of Cristina Gherasimov from her role as state secretary at the Foreign Affairs Ministry and of Rodica Crudu from her position as deputy secretary-general at the same institution. Rodica Crudu was subsequently appointed as the government’s state secretary.

Furthermore, Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popsoi proposed the appointment of Carolina Perebinos as the new state secretary at the Foreign Affairs Ministry. Popsoi highlighted Perebinos’s distinguished career as a diplomat, spanning 26 years, including her service at Moldova’s Embassy in the USA.
Simultaneously, Alexandra Sian was appointed as the state secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry, Vladimir Bolea, commended Sian’s extensive experience in the development and management of international projects and programs. Sian has held significant roles at esteemed institutions such as the Peace Corps in Moldova and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, accumulating over 10 years of expertise in her field.
