Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov had a meeting with Falk Lange, Head of the Council of Europe Office in Chisinau.
The officials discussed the European integration agenda and the steps to strengthen the European Integration Office in the coming months. Another topic discussed was the Government’s priorities and how they can be reflected in the future Council of Europe Action Plan for the Republic of Moldova for the period 2025-2028.
The Deputy Prime Minister, Cristina Gherasimov, expressed gratitude for the projects. The Council of Europe is implementing measures in our country to strengthen the judiciary, improve electoral legislation, fight corruption and money laundering, combat discrimination and hate speech, promote social rights and gender equality, reform the penitentiary system and local public administration, protect children and support refugees from Ukraine.
