Italian President Sergio Mattarella has arrived in Chisinau, where he will stay for two days. Passers-by spotted Mattarella’s motorcade in the capital on June 17.
In honor of the Italian leader’s visit, a concert dedicated to composer Giacomo Puccini will take place at the Palace of the Republic on June 17. On Tuesday, President Maia Sandu will receive the guests in an official ceremony, and afterward, the two leaders will hold a joint press conference.
