Today, June 25, Prime Minister Dorin Recean met Luxembourg Foreign and Foreign Trade Minister Xavier Bettel.The dialogue focused on the current cooperation between the countries and how Luxembourg supports Moldova’s European integration.
The officials reportedly identified possibilities to boost cooperation in the green energy and financial and banking sectors to “adjust it to international standards in this field.” They also expressed the intention to organize a Moldovan-Luxembourg business forum this year.
“We want to adopt the best experience and practices in the sectors in which Luxembourg has more expertise,” the prime minister said.

Xavier Bettel called for the gradual implementation of the reform agenda. He assurances that Luxembourg would continue backing Moldova’s modernization and the improvement of the living standards of its citizens.
The sides also signed a treaty on the double taxation agreement.
