Four more athletes from the Republic of Moldova have won the right to represent our country at the Olympic Games in Paris.
They are Dimitriana Bezede in the shot put, Alexandra Emilianov in the discus throw, Serghei Marghiev in the hammer throw, and Andrian Mardare in the javelin throw.
The athletes were allocated their participation quota based on the “World Athletics – Road to Paris 24” ranking, a complex scoring system. This system relies on the results obtained at official competitions during the qualification period.

So far, 25 athletes from the Republic of Moldova have secured their qualification tickets for the Paris Olympic Games, with the official opening scheduled for July 26.
The first Moldovan athletes to enter the competition were archers Dan Olaru and Alexandra Mirca.
