Long live Moldova! The National Olympic Committee has announced the Moldovan athletes who will carry the country’s flag at the Olympic Games in Paris.

The National Olympic Committee (NOC) has decided that Dan Olaru and Alexandra Mirca will carry the Moldovan flag at the Olympic Games in Paris.

The president of the NOC, Nicolae Juravschi, revealed this in an interview with Europa Libera. He stated that the organization’s executive committee unanimously made the decision.

The two athletes also carried the Moldovan flag at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. Dan Olaru also carried the country’s symbol at the London Olympics in 2012 when he was just 15 years old.

The Paris Olympics will be from July 26 to August 11, 2024. Moldova’s 25 athletes will compete in 10 disciplines, including equestrian, for the first time in our country’s history.

In total, the Moldovan delegation will consist of 70 people.
