Luminița Odobescu, Romania’s Foreign Minister, declared that Romania, along with Greece, will actively support Moldova and Ukraine in their efforts to join the EU.
Romania’s Foreign Minister discussed Moldova’s European integration with her Greek counterpart, George Gerapetritis. They also addressed the bilateral relations between Bucharest and Athens, the historical and cultural ties between the two countries, and the potential for cooperation in renewable energy production and transportation infrastructure development.
”The two officials reaffirmed their commitment to continue providing political and practical support for Ukraine and Moldova in their path to EU accession, as well as for the expansion process involving the Western Balkans,” reported the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
