The National Alternative Movement Party will decide who it will support in the electoral race after analyzing all electoral programs, said party leader and mayor of the capital, Ion Ceban, on Rezoomat on RLive TV. At the same time, Ion Ceban stressed that lately, he has had talks with practically all the contenders for the presidential post but refused to give more details.
“I stated that supporting any candidate we will discuss within the party. My colleagues and I haven’t addressed this yet because we still don’t know who will officially emerge as the candidate. We will review all the proposed programs, and once we’ve decided, we’ll announce it publicly. When asked if we’re considering endorsing a candidate or staying out of the process, I reiterated that we will discuss it as a team,” Ion Ceban said.
Ceban also said that the National Alternative Movement (MAN) party would support the referendum on constitutional amendments. The party will register with the CEC as a competitor.
