Afraid of no gas? Krasnoselski wants exceptional state of the economy on the left bank of the Dniester

Vadim Krasnoselski announced his intention to declare a state of emergency on the left bank of the Dniester. The decision follows the possible cut-off of Russian gas supplies.

The leader of the self-proclaimed region met with several officials and discussed possible solutions to the energy crisis.

The separatist administration stated that the gas supply issue might remain unresolved until December 31. Members of the so-called Security Council approved establishing a state of emergency in the economic sector. The final decision rests with the region’s so-called Supreme Council, which will vote on December 11.
