The separatist leader Vadim Krasnoselski announced during a press briefing after his recent visit to Moscow that Russian gas supplies to Transnistria will resume soon. He stated that “there is not much longer to wait” until the gas reaches the region, reports bani.md.
Russia will provide the gas as humanitarian aid, supplying enough to meet the needs of Transnistria’s population, the heating sector, and industrial enterprises. Krasnoselski did not disclose the route for delivering the Russian gas.

He highlighted that the Russian Federation’s Ministry of Energy discussed and collaborated with Russian authorities on this initiative. This development represents a significant step in addressing the energy needs of the Transnistrian region.
