Former Romanian Member of the European Parliament Ramona Victoria Strugariu, who won the competition for the position of Director of the National Institute of Justice (NIJ), has obtained citizenship of the Republic of Moldova. President Maia Sandu signed a decree to this effect on February 25, 2025.
It is worth noting that the new National Institute of Justice (NIJ) director, Ramona Victoria Strugariu, will officially begin her term on March 4, 2025. She requested a leave of absence from February 17 to March 3 to complete the necessary procedures for obtaining work and residence rights.
