The Parliament will host the 10th Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Poland

The Parliament will host the 10th Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Poland, according to representatives of the Legislature. The event will occur on Tuesday, May 13, starting at 10:00 AM.

Co-chairs Doina Gherman and Marek Tomasz Hok will open the session. During the meeting, officials will discuss Moldova’s European integration process and Poland’s best practices.

They will also address Moldovan–Polish bilateral relations and Poland’s assistance in Moldova’s development. At the end of the session, the Parliamentary Assembly will adopt a joint declaration.

Later, Co-chairs Gherman and Hok will deliver press statements at 12:15 PM in the Europe Hall lobby.

Officials established the Parliamentary Assembly of the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Poland on July 25, 2011, in Chisinau. This consultative interparliamentary body meets in plenary sessions once a year, alternating between Moldova and Poland, to develop joint positions on matters of mutual interest.
