At the cabinet meeting, Ina Voicu, Secretary General of the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, stated that the program’s implementation requires an estimated budget of 190 million lei, which will be funded through national budget allocations and external sources.

The program expands on an initiative by the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development, which has already provided over 14 million lei in grants to support 34 innovative startups.

The Republic of Moldova included the program in its List of Investment Projects as part of the Economic Growth Plan, and the Neighbourhood Investment Platform will support it.

According to recent statistics, Moldovan tech companies generated over 40 million USD in revenue and created 1,000 jobs in 2024.
