The PAS Announces Parliamentary Candidates: Champion Nichita, Rector Ceban, and Footballer Potirniche

Champion wrestler Anastasia Nichita, rector of the University of Medicine Emil Ceban, and football player Maxim Potirniche will run as candidates for the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) in the parliamentary elections scheduled for September 28. The PAS leader, Igor Grosu, announced during a press conference, where he appeared alongside the three candidates.

Emil Ceban emphasized his commitment to improving Moldova’s healthcare system and stated that one of his main goals is to prevent the ongoing exodus of medical professionals.

Anastasia Nichita spoke proudly about her athletic achievements and stressed that Moldova and its athletes deserve greater support. She noted that President Maia Sandu personally invited her to run in the upcoming election.

Footballer Maxim Potirniche declared his readiness to ensure full transparency regarding his income and expenses, to engage with the public, and to respond constructively to criticism.

Previously, the PAS announced several other prominent figures on its electoral list, including conductor Nicolae Botgros, writer Constantin Cheianu, and activist Ludmila Admaciuc.
