Mihai Popsoi Embarks on Another Diplomatic Mission — Next Stop: Brussels

After completing his working visit to Croatia, Moldova’s Foreign Minister Mihai Popsoi will travel to Brussels, Kingdom of Belgium, between July 14 and 15.

He will meet with EU member states’ foreign ministers at the Foreign Affairs Council of the European Union at the invitation of the High Representative. As Deputy Prime Minister, he will present Moldova’s EU accession agenda, outline the regional security context, explore new opportunities for cooperation with the EU on security matters, and promote resilience against hybrid threats.

Mihai Popsoi will also hold bilateral meetings with the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, European Commission Vice President Kaja Kallas, EU Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos, and several foreign ministers from EU member states. He will later attend the European Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee session and meet with MEPs from various political groups.
