Nick Pietrowicz is the new chargé d’affaires of the U.S. Embassy in Chisinau. A career diplomat of the US Diplomatic Service, Mr. Pietrowicz is a special agent of the Diplomatic Security Service, with previous missions in Port au Prince, Kabul, N’Djamena, Luanda, Canberra, and Sarajevo.
“We welcome Nick Pietrowicz to Moldova as the U.S. Chargé d’Affaires. A career member of the Foreign Service, Mr. Pietrowicz is a Diplomatic Security Service Special Agent with previous overseas tours in Port au Prince, Kabul, N’Djamena, Luanda, Canberra, and Sarajevo. Mr. Pietrowicz served at the U.S. Embassy Chisinau as the Regional Security Officer from 2008-2011. He is an alumnus of the University of Pittsburgh and Temple University’s School of Law. Mr. Pietrowicz has studied French, Portuguese, Russian, Serbo-Croatian, and Romanian. In his free time, he enjoys running, reading, and exploring America,” the U. S. Embassy stated.
