Authorities documented several attempts to organize citizens. This disclosure was made by Prime Minister Dorin Recean after he cast his vote for the parliamentary elections, together with his wife, Stela Recean. “For example, from the left bank of the Dniester, to go to Romania. These incidents are documented.”

“Also, yesterday, on the day of silence, as well as today, certain electoral competitors are still conducting campaign activities. These incidents are being reported. The police and other institutions are overseeing the process. We have interference from the Russian Federation. The institutions are fulfilling their duties to ensure that the vote is protected. We worked together with our partners from friendly countries, coordinating certain scenarios through which the vote could be manipulated, but we have all procedures and measures in place to ensure a well-organized and secure voting process,” added Dorin Recean.

On Sunday, September 28, 2025, parliamentary elections are taking place in the Republic of Moldova. For Moldovan citizens in Romania, 23 polling stations were opened. The same number was opened for those residing in the United Kingdom; in Italy – 75 polling stations, representing the largest diaspora.
