President Maia Sandu announced that Moldova received fresh confirmations of support from European Union member states in its accession process after the European Political Community Summit.

“The European Union member states reconfirmed support for our EU accession process. They appreciated Moldova for choosing peace, for showing courage in resisting, and for defending democracy in the face of Kremlin interference in our elections,” President Sandu emphasized.

She said the summit gave Moldova a new opportunity to strengthen bilateral relations with European leaders.

“As these relationships strengthen, so does Moldova,” Sandu noted.
