A young woman from the Republic of Moldova, Ana-Maria Railean, earned a place in the prestigious global ranking “Women of the Future: 50 Rising Stars in ESG 2025,” which honors women actively contributing to a sustainable and responsible future, reports tv8.md.

Ana-Maria Railean, a Chevening scholar and MBA student at the University of Edinburgh, promotes responsible innovation and female leadership. She co-founded the first mentorship program for women in tech and a student group for women engineers. With over seven years of experience in data analytics and artificial intelligence, she is currently developing KUMA, an AI startup that helps families preserve their memories through podcasts and audiobooks, together with an all-women founding team.

“For me, ESG means exactly that — creating that space, being that voice, and building systems where more people are seen, supported, and empowered to lead,” said Railean.
