Alexandru Munteanu and Eugen Osmochescu will travel to Davos to represent the Republic of Moldova at the 56th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum.

The prime minister has scheduled several bilateral meetings with political leaders and representatives of international companies with investment potential in Moldova. During discussions with investors, the government leadership will promote the Republic of Moldova as a reliable partner and a safe destination for business development.

On January 21, starting at 10:00 a.m., the head of the government in Chisinau will take part as a speaker in a panel discussion.

This year, the World Economic Forum will take place from January 19 to 23 in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland. The discussions will focus on strengthening cooperation in an increasingly fragmented world, unlocking new sources of growth, investing in human capital, responsibly scaling innovation, and ensuring prosperity within planetary boundaries, according to the government press service.

The World Economic Forum will bring together about 3,000 participants from more than 130 countries. Around 400 high-level political leaders are expected to attend, including 65 heads of state and government, six G7 leaders, as well as about 850 CEOs and chairpersons of the worlds largest companies.
