France National Assembly voted in favor of the agreement on the mutual recognition of Moldovan driving licenses, enabling Moldovan citizens to obtain a French driving license more easily and faster, without additional exams or complicated procedures.
Lawmakers announced the unanimous vote during the plenary session, confirming the adoption of the Franco Moldovan agreement on the exchange of driving licenses.
Moldovan Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu said the agreement will help Moldovans living in France integrate more easily.
He stated that once President Emmanuel Macron promulgates the agreement, Moldovan citizens will be able to exchange their driving licenses in France through a simplified and faster process, without extra exams or bureaucratic obstacles. Grosu thanked all those involved in achieving this result and expressed appreciation to French MPs for their support.
The agreement now awaits promulgation by French President Emmanuel Macron.
